She was
Woman.
Utterly and completely beautiful.
From the deepest of her being,
To the hidden corners of her soul,
She was
Rare.
Like a red diamond that endlessly glistens,
Saturating the senses and enveloping the heart so that you can’t turn away,
She was
Fur.
Warm and luxurious, thick and dense, but only from her beloved Bear, who comforted her and gave her solice.
She was
Wine.
Earthy and elegant, intelligently satisfiying yet, flamboyant and opulent, steely structured and richly complex.
She was
Water.
In the waves at midnight shining in the moonlight or the Suns rays warming it over sandy beaches,
She was
Heat.
Like a sauna pouring beads of sweat down supple skin and washing away pain,
She was
Strength.
In a warrior kind of way.
Quiet and steadfast, unstoppable and unrelenting, but intensely forgiving.
She was
Love.
In her words, her eyes, her deeds,
Through the good times and bad,
She was
Perfect.
To everyone, even when she wasn’t,
But especially to God
Because
Above anything else,
She lived for Jehovah.
And that is why
She was
Precious.

In 2010, I suffered a traumatic brain injury and other injuries when hit by an under insured driver. It changed my life. I now live with Dystonia, a rare and painful neurologal disorder that causes involuntary muscle spasms and abnormal posturing. There is no treatment or cure. The best one can do is treat the symptoms. You can learn more at DMRF.org.
I try to write about people and things that help and inspire my readers. You can find more of my story by going to helphopelive.org. I am also on Facebook, where I have five pages, Pain Brain -Anti- Inflammatory Foods, Brain Tears, The Positive Posters Page, Traumatic Brain Injury Resources Page, Janice Tindle- Writer.
